What is an Alkaline Presoak?

Alkaline presoaks or high pH presoaks remove tougher organic soils such as:
• Bug splatter
• Tree sap
• Bird droppings
• Pollen
• Road grime
The chemistry relies on alkalinity and high-foaming detergents to loosen soils, brighten surfaces, and enhance wash quality. Providing extra cleaning over standard neutral conditioners.

This product is ideally suited to be used in self-serve applications, but can also be used in friction
applications (tunnels and in-bay automatics). Begin application at 64-90:1 and adjust if needed. Product
can also be used in tunnels on a “lava” style foam curtain at the entrance of the tunnel. Its alkalinity will
provide extra cleaning over standard neutral conditioners. Dilution will depend upon style of foam
curtain. Begin at 150:1.
